Santiago and Mendoza typically experience mild autumn conditions, while coastal cities such as Valparaíso and Rio de Janeiro remain warm and sunny. Iguazú Falls and the Iberá Wetlands are usually hot and humid, with occasional tropical showers possible. Buenos Aires enjoys comfortable temperatures during autumn, making it an ideal time to explore the city on foot. Travellers should pack layers for cooler evenings and comfortable clothing suitable for both warm and mild climates throughout the journey.
