Travelling with a Disability

Two’s a Crowd is committed to making travel as widely accessible as possible, regardless of ability or disability. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the world — and we do everything we can to make that happen.

Before you book We encourage all travellers with a disability or accessibility requirement to carefully review the itinerary of any tour you’re considering. Many of our tours involve carrying your own luggage, getting in and out of vehicles frequently, and walking on uneven surfaces. These are things worth considering honestly before committing to a particular tour.

What we can do We are happy to make reasonable adjustments to accommodate the needs of travellers with disabilities wherever possible. Examples include:

  • Requesting ground floor accommodation where available
  • Providing written directions and instructions alongside verbal communication for hearing-impaired travellers
  • Liaising with hotels and local operators in advance about specific accessibility requirements
  • Advising on which tours and destinations are most suitable for your particular needs

Travelling with a companion Many of our travellers with accessibility needs have successfully enjoyed our tours while travelling with a friend or companion who can assist with their specific requirements. Please note that our Two’s a Crowd Tour Hosts are not carers and cannot take on the role of a personal companion or carer — their responsibility is to the group as a whole. If you require personal assistance, we strongly recommend travelling with a dedicated companion who can provide that support throughout the tour.
