Deogarh Mahal
Deogarh Mahal is an imposing structure built in the 17th century. It stands atop a hill and offers a commanding view of the Aravalli mountain range and the numerous lakes strewn across the countryside. Deogarh Mahal has long been an integral part of the Mewar aristocracy and heritage, passed down through many Rawats — a local title equivalent to Raja — and used as a personal residence and fort.
At its most extensive, the Deogarh territory comprised some 210 villages, with one of their defensive forts as far as 100 km away. Yet there is little ostentation and even less gold to be found in the palace — like most of the Mewar nobility, the Rawats of Deogarh spent too much time defending their land to amass great wealth.
Fort Chanwa Luni
Today, Fort Chanwa has been restored to its pristine glory and charm by its proud owners Maharaj Dalip Singh & Rani Madhu Devi, who warmly welcome travellers from distant lands, offering them princely hospitality in an inimitably enchanting setting: a Heritage Hotel in the finest of traditions.
Heritage Hotel Fort Chanwa Luni is an exceptional example of elegance and symmetry in Indian architecture of the 18th century. The entire haveli is built out of the famous red sandstone of Jodhpur, and with its ornately carved lattice work friezes and intricate “jharokas” or balconies, it exquisitely captures the romance and grace of yesteryear.
This fortified haveli is composed of a complex of courtyards, towers, a water wheel, passages and unexpected stairways to secret pavilions and panoramic roof tops spanning the village below and the Thar horizon beyond. The village of Luni nestles in the shadow of the castle walls and is a hub of activity, with many artisans fashioning metal, clay or wood into intricate forms, their skills passed down over the centuries.
Radisson Jaipur City Center
Located centrally in Jaipur, within the fabled Golden Triangle, Radisson Jaipur City Center offers an excellent base for the Jaipur leg of the journey. Close to the railway, metro, and bus stations, the hotel is within 10 kilometres of Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and Amber Fort.
Rooms feature premium bedding, mini-bars, and free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy a rooftop pool with city views, unwind at Revive Gym & Spa, and dine at one of four on-site restaurants, including the all-day Mosaic for breakfast and multi-cuisine dining.

Guests can enjoy modern, thoughtfully designed rooms with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness centre, and a variety of cuisines at the vibrant all-day dining restaurant, The Palate.
DELHI
Delhi is India’s capital and seat of government. It forms the National Capital Territory of Delhi, rather than being part of a state. Delhi is one of India’s largest cities, and the core of one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, with over 21 million inhabitants. As the capital of several empires over the last 2000 years, Delhi contains a striking array of well-preserved historic sites for tourists to visit. Delhi is said to be one of the oldest existing cities in the world, along with Jerusalem and Varanasi, with legend estimating it to be over 5,000 years old.
AGRA
Agra is the city of the Taj Mahal, in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, some 200km from Delhi and 240km from Jaipur — famed across the globe for its legacy of monuments, old heritage, and colourful bazaars. Agra has three UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort in the city, and Fatehpur Sikri nearby. While Agra’s golden age was as the capital of the Mughal empire between 1526 and 1658, the city was founded much earlier, with its earliest reference found in the ancient epic, the Mahabharata.
JAIPUR
Jaipur is the largest city in Rajasthan and was built in the eighteenth century by Sawai Jai Singh as India’s first planned city. Jaipur is a major tourist attraction amongst Indian as well as international travellers, and belongs to the tourist Golden Triangle of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. It’s often called the Pink City in reference to its distinctly coloured buildings, which were originally painted to imitate the red sandstone architecture of Mughal cities.
JODHPUR
Jodhpur is an historic city whose origin dates to 1459 AD, when it was founded by Rao Jodha, the Rajput chieftain of the Rathores. The city was built as the new capital of the state of Marwar. Jodhpur is also known as the Blue City, an apt name as most houses in the old city are shades of blue — particularly noticeable in Brahmpuri, the old quarter home to many Brahmins. The forts and palaces, temples and havelis, culture and tradition, and booming handicrafts industry all add up to make this historic city worth a visit.
